Dr. Terry Bennett graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1977. He is entering his 40th year of private practice with the last 27 being limited to the treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction and Sleep Apnea. He is a member of several organizations and hold certifications in many of these. He has been extremely active in the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP) serving on the board of directors over a decade, in addition to serving as Program Chair for four years and President for two years.
Currently, he is the AACP Institute Director of Education. This position entails organizing and providing education associated with the treatment of TMD and Dental Sleep Medicine. Among the many certifications he has attained are DABCP (Diplomate American Board of Craniofacial Pain), DABCDSM (Dipolmate American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine), DABDSM (Dipolmate American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine), DAAPM (Dipolmate American Academy Pain Management).
Dr. Bennett currently divides his time between his private practice and lecturing for the AACP, Dental Schools and other organizations.
Celesta- Clinical Assistant:
Celesta joined the team in 2008, after being a patient since 2003. She was a small business owner when she first came to Dr. Bennett’s TMJ office as a patient. She had suffered terribly for 20 years with what turned out to be a TMJ problem. Her treatment progressed very well and she could not have been happier to be given a second chance at life. When the opportunity became available for her to work with Dr. Bennett, she jumped on the chance to be part of a team that was helping people get their lives back, just as it had done for her.
